- Free, confidential, and available for suicidal thoughts, emotional distress, substance use crises, or if you’re worried about someone else.

If You’re Helping Someone Else
- Stay with them if possible.
- Remove immediate hazards (medications, weapons, etc.) if safe to do so.
- Call 988 for guidance—even if the person isn’t ready to call themselves.
What to Expect When You Reach Out
- You’ll speak with a trained counselor (not law enforcement unless safety requires it).
- They’ll listen without judgment.
- They can help create a short-term safety plan and connect you to local resources.
